HOBI 2016 – Home Building Industry Awards
Best Residential Remodel

Quarter Horse Lane, Fairfield, CT

The interior of the home was a large late 1980’s spec home in Fairfield, CT that was very dated. The renovation completely addressed the client’s desires of bringing the home into the present day, looking to the possible future needs and ensuring the latest technology and lifestyle enhancements were included while allowing ample space for the three generations of family to live under one roof and provide plenty of space for the extended family to gather. The remodel included complete gutting and expansion of the kitchen, new trim, new wood floors, new stair rails, balusters, newel, hardware and floors and a first floor aging in place master suite. The second floor was totally remodeled. A couple of bedrooms were converted into a master suite, with an entry foyer, walk-in closet, cedar closet, spacious master bathroom and a large dressing room. A bath was added to the pool house and a lowel level laundry room.Although the initial scope of the project was almost doubled the time for completion was maintained.
